Legal Age & Identification
All customers must provide a valid and current form of identification to verify their age and identity before entering our retail area. Adult-use customers must be 21 years of age or older. Medicinal cannabis patients must be 18 years of age or older and provide a current physician’s recommendation.
Acceptable Forms of Identification:
A valid ID issued by the U.S. federal government or a U.S. state, county, or city that includes the person’s name, date of birth, height, gender, and photo, such as a qualifying driver’s license or state-issued identification card
A valid U.S. Armed Forces ID that includes the person’s name, date of birth, and photo
A valid passport issued by the United States or a foreign government
Unacceptable Forms of Identification:
An expired driver’s license or ID, including an expired driver’s license presented with a temporary renewal
Digital identification, including IDs stored in the California DMV Wallet app, Apple Wallet, Google Wallet, Samsung Wallet, or similar digital wallet applications
Identification issued by another country other than an official passport
Customers receiving a cannabis delivery must also present an acceptable form of identification to verify their age and identity before cannabis goods can be provided.
Compliance & Testing
All products sold at Tropicanna comply with California state regulations and undergo rigorous third-party lab testing for potency, pesticides, and contaminants. We only carry licensed brands that meet the Department of Cannabis Control’s quality and labeling standards.
Purchase Limits & Resale
Customers are subject to daily purchase limits as defined by California law. Cannabis purchased from Tropicanna is intended for personal use only and may not be resold or redistributed.
Delivery Restrictions
Tropicanna delivers to select areas in compliance with California state regulations. Customers must present valid ID upon delivery and be present to receive the order. We do not deliver to public or federal properties.
Battery & Vape Cartridge Recycling (AB-1894)
In accordance with Assembly Bill No. 1894, the following disposal practices are required:
– A spent cannabis cartridge shall be properly disposed of as hazardous waste at a household hazardous waste facility or other approved facility.
– An empty integrated cannabis vaporizer shall be properly disposed of as hazardous waste at a household hazardous waste collection facility or other approved facility.
We encourage our customers to dispose of cannabis hardware responsibly.
Please return used vape devices and batteries to Tropicanna for proper recycling or disposal. We partner with licensed e-waste recycling services to ensure hardware is handled safely and in accordance with environmental regulations.
